湯鍋除了煮湯、吃火鍋很好用外,拿來燒煮有湯汁的料理也很方便。例如三杯雞。兩根去骨雞腿切塊洗淨,用紙巾擦乾水分,皮朝下放進鍋裡,煎到皮成金黃色。再加入蒜頭、薑片和麻油煸炒,加入醬油、酒、少許糖,以前米水糕、杏鮑菇等配料,加蓋燜煮。
